Swan Hunting

Corey drew for a swan this year. He was really excited, because he's never hunted swan before. Him and his friend Jared (who also had a tag for a swan), went hunting quite a bit to try and fill their tags. (QUITE a bit...) Really pretty picture though huh?? (just try and not think about it being a dead swan.)

Naturally though, you can't go swan hunting and not shoot all of the ducks that are flying by! I don't see the facination with it, but Corey is all excited about how you can just drop them.

Corey got his swan, I got to eat swan for the first time, and all was happy except for the swan. It was actually really really soft and it did not taste all that bad either. It was pretty cool to see a swan up close and personal and Corey had a great time!

School and Life Happenings

Nursing school is coming to an end! I am so relieved! I finished my finals yesterday, and this morning I woke up as a free woman!! While I still have 1 more semester, it will be NOTHING like it has been. I will graduate this April!
This was taken during my final practicum! (It is a good thing my lab teacher had a sense of humor!) It will be so nice to not have to wake up and go to labs, clinicals, class, in services, and all that junk!
I plan on taking my boards this summer and hope to pass those, and I am also applying to the BSN program and I hope to start that in August!

Corey has 3 more semesters left for his Master's program. (It is like he is not even in school - who would have thought!) He'll be more than thrilled to be done with schooling! He has spent a lot of time pheasant hunting and swan hunting these last few days....weeks...months ??? It's been a long time :)

We also moved! This is a picture of our kitchen. I was going to have more pictures to post, but I got lazy and this is the only one I have taken. It is also my favorite part of the house! It is a cute, very old house (built in 1914) that we are so grateful to be living in!

Alaska 2011

Corey and I went to Alaska at the begining of August! It was such a great trip. Definitely not the 'vacation' that I am used to, but I loved every minute of it! The men on the Kaminska side have been having an annual Alaska trip for years and years. Corey wanted to go fishing in Alaska for his graduation get-a-way and so our trip and the annual men's trip was rolled all in to one. It was a great time!
I've never been so exhausted on vacation as I was this vacation! The fishing in Alaska is undescribable! It was the most amazing fishing ever! The only thing that could have made the trip better was if we stayed in a hotel. Don't get me wrong, the camping for over a week with all dudes was loads of fun, but let's get real here - a girl needs a bath now and then! It was so much fun, stinky and all!

Grandpa Kaminska, myself, Corey, Jim (Corey's Dad), and TJ (Corey's cousin) gathered round to fulfill my need for a photo. (I did a terrible job of taking photos, because I was to worried about falling into the water and ruining my camera!) Not pictured here is Corey's uncle Curt, his daughter Chelsie who came for a coupe of nights, and Aaron, Corey's brother. I say again - it was so much fun!

This fishing as amazing as it was, really was hard work. I believe Grandpa and TJ were the only fishermen left standing one of the days! There are pictures to document everyone else sleeping on the rocks. There is no picture of Jim asleep, but that is, because he was trying to hide the fact that he too took a nap, but he didn't fib very well. This was taken a few minutes before Chelsie and I passed out on the rocks next to Corey and Curt.
It was so cool to watch everyone fish and catch fish! If it were physically possible to fish 24-7 (which we ALMOST did), then I am positive that is what Corey would have done.
I think this was the biggest red that I caught! It was sooo cool! I could fish on the Kenai every day. It was such an adrenaline rush to fight with the fish! There were a couple of times I thought I was going to slip and fall into the river (you are fishing in the river with the water up to your thighs), but thankfully no one in our group slipped in!
AMAZING VACATION!!!! *sigh* So awesome!

Quick Idaho Babies Trip!

There were quite a few trips that happened this summer, but I've been horrible about documenting them! (It is a good thing I have a bunch of sisters who DO take pictures of these happenings.) These are just two of my many babies that I love to pieces AND I'm so proud to be able to say that Leslie is going to be providing me with another baby!! (That is right folks - Leslie and Colt are pregnant and I'm so excited!)My Momma, Tammy and her babies, and Poohster came up to Preston to visit Grandpa for a quick weekend. I was able to go and spend a few hours with them one night. It was not near enough time, but I've come to realize that no matter how much time it is - it is never enough time. Puff made it home safely from J-town which I am so relieved about and so grateful! She had an amazing experience! Tammy lived in Utah for a few months haha - it was freaking awesome!
This is my sweet sweet baby girl who - I'm just going to put it out there and I know there will be NO ARGUMENTS that I am SO the FAVORITE AUNT to her! Her brother Tanner would agree with that too! (Sorry other Aunts, you better step up your game.)
Grandpa has a kitty that keeps him company that Tanner loves! (I am not sure if the kitty feels the same way...) Regardless, Tanner and I got up in the morning after this sweet little boy snuggled right next to me for an entire night (he's so sweet), and we caught the cat! Tanner had a great time holding that kitty while watching Mickey Mouse Cartoons. It is amazing the grip these little ones can have on animals! Tanner just giggle and held on tight!

Man robs bank of $1 to get medical attention June 21st, 2011 @ 8:37am

GASTONIA, N.C. -- Do you really have to rob a bank to get affordable health care these days? A North Carolina man apparently thinks so.

James Verone certainly wasn't trying to break the bank with his crime. He could have asked for all the cash in the safe. Instead he simply asked for a $1 bill.

TV station WCNC reports Verone walked into an RBC Bank in Gastonia, N.C., on June 9, unarmed, and passed a note to the teller.

RBC Bank in Gastonia, N.C. "The note said, ‘This is a bank robbery. Please only give me one dollar,'" Verone told the TV station from the Gaston County Jail.

After the teller complied, Verone said he would be sitting on a chair in the lobby, waiting for police.

His motivation? Going to jail means free health care.

Verone, 59, says he has no criminal history. He also has no job, little money, a growth on his chest, two ruptured discs in his back and a foot problem. He said he thought the robbery was the only logical way to get medical attention.

The jail doctor says Verone is manipulating the system. But Verone said, "If it's called manipulation, then out of necessity because I need medical care, I guess I am manipulating the courts to get medical care."

Verone is charged with larceny. He hopes for a sentence of about three years. After that, he plans to collect social security and then live on the beach.

Absolutley pitiful. I have an idea - maybe go and get a freaking job and work! I guess getting sent to prison is much easier though and in prison you'll have a nice meal-every meal, a place to work out, and free health care. Cause no one else in this country is having to work to pay for health care. Stupid. If we were smart we wouldn't sentence him to prison we would sentence him to a job.

Tasty Cat Fish

Corey has been fishing like a mad man and supplying us and friends with some tasty cat fish! Corey and his buddy Rusty went fishing and Corey came home with two large cat fish and two small ones. He was pretty excited and was again able to take his boat out for some fishing!

Corey's New Boat

Corey has been wanting a boat, (and a fourwheeler, trailer, 8 man tent, buddy heater, ice fishing tent, etc) for forever! One thing that I admire about corey is, that if there is a will - then there is a way. His Dad had an old boat, so Corey decided that all he needed to do was get a motor running. After searching on the internet, numerous phone calls he finally found a motor. Once the motor got working it was smooth sailing! (Pun intended!)

Corey took me out to Mantua bright and early and it was so much fun! It was a tad bit cold, but the water was extremely calm and the area is just beautiful. It was so fun to be so close to the birds and ducks that were swimming around. They didn't mind us and we didn't mind them!
It was so nice and relaxing to be fishing out on a body of water! I always thought that ice fishing was my favorite type of fishing, but I've decided that fishing in a boat is the way to go! We had the whole bay to troll and not a living soul or another boat in sight. It was so awesome.

We fished four about three or so hours and didn't even get a bite! I was convinced that I was getting a bite every time I threw my line out, but Corey finally talked me into realizing the only thing I was catching was algae, because I wasn't reeling fast enough. We did not get one bite which means that we did not catch a single fish. This never happens and it still turned out to be one of the funnest fishing days ever! I'm so glad that Corey got this boat fixed up so that he can enjoy himself and take me along!

Farewell Jamie

This has been a long time coming. Jamie, my little sister is gone to the Holy Land - J-Ru, formerly called Jerusalem. Before she left I went down to Salt Lake City to wish her farewell. My parents, Jamie, and Tammy and her two kids were also there to wish her farewell. It was very sad, but really exciting for Jamie!

This little muffin was all smiles as we hung out at the Kimbal. Jamie had meetings all day prior to her leaving so Tammy and I hung out with her kids at the hotel. Tanner man was catching up on his Mickey Mouse and other cartoons while we prepared to go to breakfast.

We also celebrated Tammy's birthday by going to the one and only Denny's! (we love Denny's in this family. It is the only way to go!) We had some tasty french toasts and scrumptrulescent hot chocolate.
Jamie is known for her procrastination when it comes to getting packed for her excursions. So as to not break tradition, Jamie, my Mom, and Tammy were packing her bags the night before and taking a last minute trip to Wal-Mart at like, oh four in the am. I however had to stay and "tend" to the babies. (Which is code for, 'I fell asleep snuggling the baby.') They managed however to get her packed and ready to go only two short hours before she had to leave the airport! I was extremely sad to see her go, but I knew she would be having the time of her life! (Which she totally is!) She is seeing so many amazing places and she is just growing spiritualy like a weed. I miss her dearly, but she is safe and getting to see things that very few have the opportunity to go and see.

Once we said goodbye to Jamie we needed a little pick me up. so, naturally we went to Dennys...Again! Tanner man must have been emotionally upset since his Puff left, so it makes perfect sense that he put his head down on the table after he started to get pouty and fell asleep within literally thirty seconds. He stayed there for a good 5-10 minutes.

Miss you loads Jamie! Love you!

Weber State University Graduation 2011

Corey Hunter Kaminska graduated from Weber State University Cum Loude with a Bachelor's degree of Health Care Administration, April 22nd, 2011!

He was by far the most handsome graduate there! Corey is VERY glad to be graduated. So glad that he is already applying for his Master's degree in a couple of days! We hope to hear good news mid May! I am just overflowing with how grateful and proud I am of Corey.

Corey did very well in his program and was able to do his internship at the Brigham City Community Hospital. He was able to learn a lot, experience a lot and it opened many doors for him to begin his career! Corey had some intense classes that I would "help" him study for. (It was all jibberish to me with lots of complex ideas of finance and woah.)

Corey has worked very hard for this day to come! He had a great gpa while taking on huge coure workloads and working 6 week gigs to help out with the bills. I'm so grateful to have married such a hard working boy who values the importance of getting a good education. I was so proud to see my graduate accept his diploma! (I tried very hard to not cry.) I love you dearly Corey and I am so excited and proud of you!

Watch out world - Corey Kaminska is the HOTT item to have!!

TWIGGS REUNION

Corey and I were able to go to St. George for another quick trip. The entire family (minus Leslie's husband) was there! It was basically a farewell to Puff who is going to Jerussalem in like T - 7 days or something. Well - if Mom let's her go :)
Here is my beautiful Momma and the famous three little girls! I wish I could have gotten these pictures to flip, but apparently my computer is stupid - or I am - someone/thing is.
Here is my freaking awesome Corey. He was so happy in this picture, because it was the first time in like MONTHS that he has seen me get ready just to get ready for the day.
Here is my wonderful Dad! He is so great and him and my Mom cooked us so much amazing food while we were visiting!Yet again - wish this picture would flip.
Here is the oldest daughter of my family - Aubree - and her daughter Avenlee. Just look at how those pudgy little arms are reaching around to give her Momma a squeeze! They are sptting images of each other. My brothers kept telling me all weeked how when they saw Avenlee running around the house it reminded them of Aubree when she was at that age.
This is Grandpa Winn. I miss him a lot since he moved back down to St. George for the winter. He is 90 years old and such an amazing example and I love him a lot!
The Twiggs girls! (Seriously - how did my parents survive this!? I'll tell you why - because they are totally amazing!)
Yet another picture of squishy Avee! She is just so stinking cute. I love just watching her run the show, throw tantrums, give loves, snuggle, tell Tanner what to do! So darling!
Tammy baby Addilyn! (I wish the blanket wasn't covering most her face, because she is to die for as well!) This little bambino is so cuddly and a happy baby. I miss her loads!
Taylee, Me, Amy and JT! I can't believe how my nieces and nephews have grown! When I look at them I see them as little toddlers and it just doesn't register that they are getting all grown up and crazy aunt Tina someday will really truly be their crazy aunt Tina!

My little older sister Leslie and my amazing Mom again! Leslie is in Nebraska and that sucks. Everyone is spread all over the place now and if you would have asked me if that would ever happen I would have said NO!
Amy and Tyler chillaxin on the couch. I still can't believe that they have four children and none of them are little babies anymore. (I'm sure if you asked their kids if I still treated them like they were little babies they would say yes :) Everyone needs a crazy aunt!)

Here is Jeff - he was eating some tasty mac 'n cheese from Harmon's (Really good stuff!) I don't know how I didn't get any pictures of his wife Sabra, but she is freaking awesome too!
I am really grateful for all of my family. I have been extremely blessed to have such amazing parents and wonderful siblings and that all of my siblings have married wonderful additions ! It was so great to see all of my family - I love you all - and I'm sad that it couldn't last longer!

BaBiEs - I LoVe BaBiEs!

I just love babies! (Not in the creepy sense.) Corey and I have lots and loads of babies that we just love to pieces. On the Twiggs side there are 10 and the Kaminska side there are now 7 (soon to be 8 thanks to Linsay and Aaron!) Sadly I am not capable of posting a picture of each one of these adorable creatures, but take my word for it - they are adorable little creatures. This is Kyran Majors - he is the newest addition to the Kaminska side and the 2nd baby boy to Melissa and Brian! He is stinking cute and he has some adorable cheeks (both on his face and lower half I am sure!)

This is little London and she is Ashley and Caleb's youngest daughter of 3. She recently just had her tonsils and adenoids removed. Her little cheeks were pretty swollen and rosy red, but she made it look super duper cute! She also rules the roost at her house :D it me makes me laugh.
Here is baby Addi and she is the newest addition to the Twiggs side of the family and Tammy and John's 2nd child. I could snuggle her allll day if someone would let me! She is so lovey and just so nice.
This is Miss DIVA (aka Avee) and she rules the roost! She is too die for and so squishy it kills me! She makes me laugh and I love to tease her, because she is just adorable! I mean - look at that face! I love being able to rock her to sleep for a nap, because she just melts me!
This is Braylon and he is the PROUD big brother to Kyran. He cracks me up and is one of Corey's little hunting pals. He knows more rap songs word for word than I do and he loves to rock out to them! (It makes me laugh cause it is so cute!) He is a stud and adorable!

This is my Tanner man and I miss him dearly. He is just a little spitfire and so fun to be around! His smile just makes me so happy and his laugh is one of the greatests! He is the happieslittle boy and such a stud I might add too! This is Chlo-bug and well she is just my little shadow and I love it so much! (it is nice to have a little person think you are super cool!) She is getting all grown up and pretty soon she won't want to be held all the time and too grown up to dance with her weird-o aunt Tina, but she is so cute! She is also a little spit fire and so fun to play with!
This is Sadie bean and she is the oldest of the Hardy girls! I can't believe how big she is and how smart she is! Her mom is always telling us of the things she has said and she is beyond her years! (Sadie told her mom, "Mom, your macaroni and cheese is divine!") She is so funny and always ready to roll with the agenda and ready to tend to her little sisters!
And last but not least - here is my baby! Bear has gotten huge! He is an AWESOME pheasant sniffer and he is just freaking awesome. He is still out at Corey's parents house but we look every night for a place that will let us bring him with (so if you know of anything cheap and with a back yard that is for rent holler this way!)
Sadly I don't have pictures of all of my neices and nephews, because they are ALL to die for, extremely cute, and i love each and every one of them! The Kaminska girls (Bella and Sohpia) are getting all grown up and are too far away in Alaska! I'm so excited though, because I will get to see them in like 5 days! The Twiggs kiddos ( Taylee, Mikki, J.T, Lance, Emily) are getting all grown up and their parents don't ever send me pictures of them - rude. Taylee just had a birthday and Tyler and Amy's kis and busy with school and getting all grown up! KEEP THEM COMING FAMILY!!

BRIXTON'S BAKED POTATO

Here is the dealio. Corey and I just ate at this place and it was pretty much one of the most amazing potato experiences I have ever had ....and - I've had a few. If there is one thing I am good at it is finding good places to eat and this place is GOOD. Tonight we tried that alfredo fettuccini smashed baked potato with broccoli and the pulled bbq pork with cole slaw smashed baked potato. They were both to die for! mmmm. so good - check it out

Just My Luck

It was one of those mornings where I was planning on washing my hair, but I just couldn't pull myself out of bed to save my life....so I didn't wash my hair. I also didn't put on make-up, big deal. I didn't think it was a big deal until I got to class where I found my seat next to my buddies and pals. I sat down. I look over at my peer who is looking at me funny and sniffing me - yes sniffing me. (Weirder things have happened in these nursing classes.)

Me: Uh, what are you doing?

Peer: Can you smell that?

Me: Uh, no. Is it my perfume? (thinking that he thought I smelt good, because I did and my perfume smells awesome.)

Peer: No, I am pretty sure I can smell your hair.

(He couldn't have had a more disgusted look on his face. It was like I passed gas openly or something...I wonder which would have been worse for him....or worse for me!)

Me: Uh....uh huh - must be my hairspray.......(as I swiveled forward in my chair hoping someone would pass some horrible smelling gas to distract the attention away from my "stinky hair.")

Luckily no more attention was drawn to me and no one had to pass gas. Also, my hair was never discussed throughout the rest of the class. For the record - it was only day 2 that I had not washed my hair AND I am a firm believer in showering my body daily, brushing my teeth daily, but the washing of the hair ... well seriously - I've never been sniffed before....awkward.
Somedays are just a kick in the pants. (and yes, I am washing my hair before I go out into public next!)

Helllooo 2011!

I have been terrible at blogging (as my dear little sister never fails to point out), but I am going to sacrifice an hour of sleep to provide an update of what is going on in the lives of us! I know some of you may not care, but one of my fanizzles (Pooh) will surely be impressed.

I went to St. George last weekend to meet the sweetest addition to the Knudsen/Twiggs family. She is very sweet, she smells tasty and she just is perfect to hold and take a mid morning, mid-afternoon, mid-evening, mid-night - any time nap. Tanner man is still adorable as ever too!
This little Diva is stinking cute too! She rules the roost, but she is so squishy and lovey that even when she is being divalicious you can't help, but think that she is the cutest thing ever! My dad is a stud too!
Corey is finishing out his last semester and doing a 300 hour internship with the CEO of the Brigham City Hospital. He loves doing what he is doing and can't wait to finally be done with school. He also is getting ready to take his GRE exam and the better the score the better chance he has of getting straight into the Master's program. I'm still in school and someday I will finish....I hope. I am still working full time in the ED and I'm still loving it (even though I would love to experience weekend life for a full weekend.) Corey and I have also been trying to get our butts in shape.
For motivational purposes I am posting this picture of how good I'm looking these days. So all of you ladies out there - I did it so can you! Corey snapped this picture of me.

No seriously though - Corey and I go to the gym together and it is really nice to burn off some steam, but still be able to be doing something with each other. Alright - see you all in a few months :)

Now this is a post on Corey's behalf. Along with being occupied with school he had a Hunting Expo he's been planning on going to. He had a lot of fun and he was able to meet a ton of cool people that we watch on the hunting channels. (Ie: LaRRy PoTTerField and TeD NugEnT!)

Corey now is trying to figure out what hunt he wants to go on when he grows up or when he has money.

Merry Christmas 2010

I am super slow these days at blogging, but alas an update! We are so lucky to have so many wonderful great friends whom we love dearly! These are a few of our dear friends that we were able to take a trip down to SLC to see the lights and eat some yummy PF Changs mmmm so tasty!! We met up in Ogden and then we rode the train/tracks to get where we were going. I think most all of us had a blast!
I am not sure why spouses are not sitting together, ha ha, but oh well! We had some serious gameing going on! Boys vs Girls and yes you guessed it - us girls got our rear ends handed to us! (we did win one round!) This is Lindsey Quayle - we are glad they are back from Belgium and Jeremy Catron who is graduated and hopefully won't move him and his wife too far away!
This is Caleb Hardy (he is my brother in law, but we pretty much bombard him and Ashley to do play with us pretty much daily!) We are glad they let us! Here is Lindsey again and they are also building a new home - so jealous!
This is Teresa Catron and she was feeling pretty sick the whole ride down, but she was a trooper and still played games with us and didn't even toss cookies!! Jared Quayle who was so kind to share with us a 24 hour recall of his diet - pretty amazing! And last but not least Ashley Hardy! This is Corey's sister and like I said - we hound her daily to play with us! We love all of these crazy people and we are so grateful that we are surrounded with so many wonderful friends!

And this post doesn't stop there!!
Ash and Caleb let us come over to their house for Christmas - which was a BLAST! It was so fun to watch their girls open their presents and shriek and scream with joy!! We've kind have started this odd/awesome tradition where we go over to their house on Christmas eve and help "prepare" things. We love it and it is always a blast! It is always fun to watch little kids be excited about Santa and to be half awake tearing through presents!!
These girlies are just so stinking cute and they are hilarious too!! I love getting to live so close to them!
Now if only corey would have smiled for this picture it would have been the stinkin' cutest picture EVER! But no - he was being a turd and woudln't smile.

At least he looks handsome in this picture! (He was happy now, because he was getting to open up his presents from santa :D )
I really love Christmas time and I really love all of my family ! It was such a great Christmas! I hope everyone else had as grand of time as we did! I also lover lover the face off of this guy, because he kicks butt! MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!

Did I mention I am the proud aunt to 16 neices and nephews as of like 4 hours ago?? Yeah that's right :)

Finals Week

It is official - I have finished my first semester of nursing school at Weber State University! I just finished my very last final. (It was a doozie!) If you would have asked me (or Corey) if I thought I was going to survive the semester (or if Corey would survive me through the semester), we both would have answered with a definite NO! WE DID THOUGH!!

We are really excited about the Christmas break, because there will be no studying at our home until January 4th! Corey will be having nose surgery soon to fix his deviated septum and he is also in his very last semester of school! He will graduate this Spring (if everything goes as planned) with his Bachelor's of Health Administration! Anyway - we are really excited we both survived finals! Hopefully next semester finals will be a little more ... bearable.

* Someday I will post pictures of something, because (Drumroll please...) WE ARE DONE WITH FALL SEMESTER!!!!!

Happy Halloween

I thought Halloween this year turned out to be quite the success! I had to work on Saturday night, but then I only worked for a few hours on Sunday. Corey and I went over to his parent's house where the rest of his family came over later. We made mini pizzas (which are to die for) and then just kind of sat around. It was a lot of fun, because I was able to see my little nieces and nephew that I rarely get to see anymore. (this is my bro-in-law Caleb with his youngest daughter London - she apparently didn't like his costume! She is stinkin' cute though)
Corey also took me out to dinner at a chinese buffet here in town and then surprised me at work with BEAUTIFUL flowers and my favorite cinnamon popcorn - mmmm so good. He is the greatest husband out there (sorry ladies). We stayed home after I got off of work and enjoyed a relaxing evening watching "Pet's Semetary" (Pretty lame) and eating yummy popcorn.
Corey was able to go "Trunk or Treating" with hsi family and so he dressed up pretty mild this year :) He went as a cowboy, but he would prefer you call him an outlaw. He said that he had a lot of fun being able to go.
Thanks to all my family and friends for the birthday wishes! It was a great year and I wish I could have celebrated with everyone. I am one year older .... and...maybe a little bit smarter :) HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

It has been forever since I last posted anything and the ONLY reason I am posting now is for my dear little sister Pooh. So here is what has been going on!
Every week for the last couple of months I would go up to Preston, Idaho to eat dinner and have a sleep over with the greatest Grandpa in the world! This is my Grandpa Winn on his 90th birthday!! (I know, he looks great huh! and yes, he still lives alone and has no problems!) I was really grateful to be able to have him all to myself one day a week. I learned so much about him and my Grandma that I didn't know and he also has taugth me so much. He really is such a great example! Sadly though, my Mom came and took him back to St. George for the summer, but we both agreed we would resume our weekly get togethers next summer :) I love him the most!

Corey has been hunting it up these days! He is loving every minute of it too. This picture was taken a couple of weeks ago. He was hunting up in Chalk Creek with a muzzle loader...I think. Anyway, this was the deer he was hoping to get and he got it! He now has a European style mount ?? (It will be staying in the in-laws garage thank heavens!)
Corey also has been busy with school and his temporary job of moving medical records for the hospital. He graduates in one more semester - yahoo!!! More exciting news also is that he will be having his deviated septum repaired SOON! He had his doctor's appointment a couple of days ago and the doctor said, "Well, your septum is going every which way except for straight - you really ought to get that fixed!"
Halloween is just right around the corner too! (Try like 3 days holy crap!) We won't be dressing up as anything this year, because I will be working on the 30th and the 31st AGAIN and Tammy and John now live in Denver so we don't have an annual Halloween party to go to :(. I love love love Halloween so I just can't wait! I hope to be able to get home from work a little bit early so Corey and I can sit at home and pass out candy - riveting I know!

I have been crazy busy with working full time and going to school full time. School is going great though! I really enjoy my instructors and I am so glad that in 3 semesters I will finally have the title of an RN behind my name. What a relief! So for all of you that thought I was dead - sorry - I am not! I miss all my family and friends!! Sorry I am doing a terrible job at keeping in touch, but I will do better!!

How We Celebrated Our 3 Year Anniversary

Corey and I have been married now for 3 years! Our anniversary was on August 11, but both of us were out of state - in different states! Corey was in Alaska doing some serious fishing, and I was in Hawaii doing some serious sun tanning! We were planning on celebrating our anniversary together, but by the time things rolled around we both realized we would be vacationing. So we took an early anniversary trip to Wendover...that's right - Wendover!
Wendover was GREAT! I've never gambled ever so it was fun to lose $5 dollars with Corey in the nickel slots. We only stayed one night, but it was so much fun! We shared this HUGE brownie/sundae treat, drove the town (it took us about 3 minutes flat), and sat in the hot tub. It was a nice quick get-a-way and the best part was that it was just the two of us.
We shared a tasty, yummy, delicious drink, sent from Heaven to Starbucks - the double chocolate chip creme - so delish!
So to say the least we have been busy trying to get ready for school while getting our vacation fixes in! We both start school on August 23rd and neither one of us can wait!! Corey graduates in the Spring with his bachelor's of health administration (woot woot!) and I will be starting the nursing program. Corey also has the annual deer hunt in Brian Head which he will be doing for the next couple of weekends and then I believe a muzzle loader hunt ?? (I'm not sure what that means...) Soo, between juggling school, work and these hunts, I'm sure Corey and I will find ourselves in absolute bliss!

Corey and I have had so much fun these past three years and have been able to experience and enjoy so many new and different things together. It has been so much fun and I can't wait for all the rest of the years to come!!

Bad Case of Adult-Hood

Our house has come down with a serious case of the, "I'm so sick of waking up, going to work, coming home from work, sitting around, going to bed, getting up the next morning, going to work, coming home from work, sitting around, going to bed...."

Catch our drift??

Corey's Schedule:
Wake up at 7:00am
Be to work at 7:30am
Work until 3:30pm
Come home at 3:35pm
Nap from 4:00-6:00pm
Sit around from 6:00-10:00
Go to bed at 10:01pm ish

Tina's Schedule:
Wake up at 10:00am
Sit around from 10:01-1:00pm
Sometimes go running at 1:30pm
Go to work at 3:55pm
Work from 4:00-12:00
Come home at 12:05am
Go to bed at 12:20am ish

........Corey and I are on completely OPPOSITE schedules. We knew it would be this way. We knew that I would work every weekend and he would have every weekend from work off. This we knew.

This household is in need of some vacation time, some vacation time that last more than a day and a half (like most all of our "vacations" are.) Seeing as to how we don't know when that will happen I'm going to reminisce on the last AMAZING really quick trip we took and a fun night out. (Reminiscing is probably the only way I will survive this summer!!)

This is Mantua Bay. We went fishing here a couple of weeks ago and it was such a nice day! We didn't catch a fish or even have a single bite, but it was still fun!

Corey usually ends up babysitting me while we are fishing, because I don't pay attention to where I am casting, what I'm hooked on, where my pole is

....basically I enjoy sitting there staring at the large pools of water!

Corey wouldn't mind spending all of his time fishing. He has been doing so much fishing lately, because he has been bored out of his mind. Isn't he a handsome thing!

MEMORIAL DAY

Corey and I were able to go up to Presont, Idaho for Memorial Day! We were able to stay one night and see my parents a some family members, my grandpa Winn, and my Grandma Twiggs. It was a lot of fun!

We also slept in a tent in my Grandpa's backyard!! It was freaking awesome. Our dog bear slept right by my the whole night - you can't ask for a better sleeping bag than that!

This is Bear. He is 10 Months old now and HUGE! He is the greatest dog anyone could ever ask for. He is so good around little kids, he listens, and is a total ham. Corey and I both think he is the greatest thing ever!! I guess when kids come into the picture they will have some competition! jk - but seriously...

*sigh* I feel somewhat better now....

Here is what is going on in our lives right now:

Corey
- Working at Mosquito Abatement
- Fishing/Hunting when he is not working
- Getting ready for school to start again in August
- Recovering from knee surgery
- Mentally preparing for physical therapy for the recovering knee
- Enjoying our new couch

Most people would be pretty limited with a braced knee, but not Corey. He has managed to still go camping, hunting and fishing. Also, when he does these things he is not fishing on the banks or hunting in a car, he is floating down rivers in a float tube with one good leg and hiking around to find turkeys - even though he has already tumbled down multiple times doing so...that is just one of the reasons why Corey is so great.

We were able to go to Vegas last weekend for my cousin's wedding and it was AMAZING. Thanks to me wonderfully amazing parents for getting us a totally fabulous place to stay!! I would share how awesome this place was, but of course - my camera battery was very dead. So sorry. No pictures. But we are alive!

Two Day Vacation

Corey and I made a quick trip to St. George and Las Vegas about a week ago. Most all of my family was in town and my crazy rad cousin Megan was receiving her endowments in Vegas at the same time. So, Corey and I decided we had better make a quick minute appearance! (And we did just that!) Although it was short it was so much fun to see all of the grandkids and my sisters, brothers, parents and cousins. This was taken after we finished our session at the Las Vegas Temple. My silly sister and Mom - aren't they both so cute! It was really fun to be able to go to the temple with everyone. Thanks Megan for making that possible!
This is the soon to be happy couple! I am really excited for both of them. They are both really cool. This is Mr. Tanner boy. Oh he is to die for! This is one of the newest additions to the family that I sat and maulled to death. He is the cutest thing ever and such a big boy!! It makes me sad that he lives in Colorado :( This IS the newest addition to the family and SHE is to die for too!! She is the other little one that I maulled the entire time, because she is just soooo stinking cute and lovey. She has a big fat crush on Corey. Anytime that Corey holds her she will just sit there and snuggle him - if anyone tries to take her away from Corey, out comes the Diva and she cries on command! I miss her chubbyness and it makes me sad she lives in Arizona :( (Maybe all these cute babies should move closer to me!) These are my cousins and my sisters! Michael (and yes ladies - he is single!!) Leslie (sister) Megan (cousin) Myself and then Aubree (sister). It was a very fun trip to the temple and a much needed one!
And of course a post from me would not meet its full capacity if pictures of people eating/food were not present! This was at a restaurant called BJ's. They have things called Pazookies - if you haven't had one, you've never experienced the most wonderful thing on earth! (Yes, it is better than your children for those of you who have children!) Here is my gihuge pizza thingy...I can't think of what they are called now...Anyway, it was really really yummy!! I ate the whole thing and then I went on to eat dessert. I've been working on how much I can consume for 22 years now. I think I have almost reached my A game! Aubree and Leslie got a hold of my camera so I figure they would love to have this crazy picture posted of them! They are goof balls and I love them! We were the only girls that went to Vegas with our parents, because Tammy had to babysit and so did Puff (and puff is not of age yet.) Here are my wonderfully amazingly awesome fabulous parents whom I love dearly. Thanks to them the trip was made possible. I love them so much. They are the greatest parents anyone could ever ask for. I miss being able to live 5 minutes away from them and being able to get help and advice in a quick drive. I love them so so much and thanks mom and dad for all you do!!!!

* Yes, Corey was on the trip, but he was with my brothers most of the time and I did a very poor job at taking pictures. I'm sad I don't have any pictures of Tammy, Puff, Tyler and his family, Jeff and his family and my love Corey. (oops sorry guys) BUT I did manage to get some really great ones on Tammy's Camera and a couple on Aub's so hopefully they will post more!

Surgery

As some of you may have read Corey tore his miniscus at the TMAT. Corey was playing in the championship game and went to cut on the baseline and his knee popped and he went down. He didn't think too much about it until he realized he absolutely could not straighte his knee. Dr. Whitaker was very helpful and was kind enough to take a look at his knee and told us that we needed to make an appointment with an orthopedic doctor. (We appreciate him so much and for his kindness! He really helped us out in a bind!) So we made an appointment with Dr. Sumko, who also has been amazing and super helpful! Dr. Sumko numbed Corey's knee and was able to get it out of the 90 degree angle it had been stuck in. However, over the next week or so Corey still was not able to get his knee straightened out so we wen't in to see Dr. Sumko again, where he scheduled Corey to have his knee scoped.
Corey went into surgey Monday morning at 6:00. He was worried that they would get into surgery and find that there was nothing wrong! I was able to watch the surgery from beginning to end and it was awesome! It was a little eerie seeing corey with a tube down his throatand strapped down to a table, but after I got over that it was awesome! Once they got the scope in, sure enough, corey had a bucket handle meniscus tear. It is a good thing that it was a bucket handle, because they can just flip those over and sew them down without having to change the cartliledge from its original form, but it also is a much much longer recovery period, because they don't want the sutures to tear.Corey did amazing with the surgery so we were able to leave after the required amount of recovery time and then we got home....Corey took about 20 steps and almost passed out. So we hurried to the bedroom where he about puked everywhere, but was kind enough to wait until after I got him a garbage can a couple hours later. Corey had a rough first few hours, because we couldn't keep a handle on his nausea and vomitting, but once we got a perscription for phenegran - all was well!! It was still a long night, because I was up every 3 and a 1/2 hours getting pain medicine, every 6 getting phenegran and about every 2 hours getting Corey situated....(needless to say I am now exhausted.)
Corey is doing much better today, but is still struggling with the nausea and episodes of being light headed. He spends most of his day asleep hooked up to the polar ice machine and playing Mario Bros. (which I purchased as his "get well" gift.) Thank you family and friends that have stopped by and have helped take care of Corey! Thanks to all of the nurses and doctors at the Brigham City Hospital for taking such great care of Corey!! You were all FABULOUS!!

SPRING BREAK

WARNING: This post is way overdue and may overwhelm some of you. Please make sure you are sitting for this post if you plan to read the whole thing, beacause well - there is a lot. Read on with caution!
Ok, so this has taken me FOREVER to post! (Deepest appologizes - now prepare to brace yourself!) Corey and I were in dire need of a good vacation for Spring Break, so we headed down to Phoenix Arizona!
We broke the trip up into two parts. We spent the first night in St. George so I could see my parents and family members that are still living there. This is my amazing Dad. My Mom is not present for the picture, because I think she was getting ready to go to the Temple or something. (She is amazing too!) I love them dearly and miss them greatly! There is only one way to make a successful Spring Break trip and that is to go with friends you love! This is Marissa and Courtney Birch and they are GREAT! We had so much fun spending a week with them! (We were also glad that they survived us!) Here is the WONDERFUL family that let us stay with them in Arizona. This is my Sister Aubree and her husband J.R. and their children, Carson, Brenner, and Avenlee. It was so great to see these guys too! I haven't been able to maull these kids since Christmas time. They are so adorable. Thanks Aub and J.R. for hosting us - it was amazing! During our trip there was a lot of sleeping in and relaxing! Corey and the boys quite enjoyed themselves watching Matilda on a little mini screen. It was so fun to wake up almost every morning to these cute little voices wanting to know if we are awake to play yet! Aren't they darling!
A trip isn't a trip at all if you don't make sure you do a lot of eating out! This is the Grande Burritto from The Cheesecake Factory....mmmm - words can't even explain how I felt about this meal! I was bound and determined to eat the whole thing, but I only managed to eat about 1/2 before I was stuffed to my limit! (I'm sure the 4 Diet Cokes and 2 loafs of bread didn't help my situation.) I successfully gained the 5 pounds I had lost before Spring Break in a matter of 6 days. That is a true talent. Who goes to Arizona and doesn't spend every wakeing moment in the sun or in a mall?! I don't know!! We would wake up only to move our tired little bodies to the sun! Brenner and Carson both worked on their volleyball game while they had Courtney in a butt-freezing pool! I only wish that I lived there to play in the sun everyday. While we were soaking up the sun, Marissa managed to injur herself. She stepped on a rock and the rock actually got stuck in her foot! (I would have cried probably - she didn't.) While Marissa was laying out Carson walked by and said, "Oohh! Marissa, you are bleeding! You have an owie. I will go and get you a bandaid. It will make it all better." Carson quickly ran and found a bandaid to heal Marissa's foot and then before he put it on he said, "Ok Marissa, ok here we go." Then he smoothed it across the owie and said, "There you go Rissa." All I can say was it was ADORABLE. (Melted my little black heart!)
It is a Twiggs tradition to eat at a Cracker Barrel, Ihop, Denny's - some breakfast/lunch food joint before making a drive back from vacation. We rounded up the troops and headed to eat some delicious food! Mmm, their french toast is to die for.
The trip went by so fast I couldn't believe it! Thanks Aub so much for letting us come and stay with you and hang out with you. We all want to do it again. Did I mention we went to wet and wild with Aub and her kids??? Oh man - Brenner can punch faster at water streams than any little kid I have seen and Carson just runs around going down the few slides they will allow him on for his height! It was a FaBuLoUs trip! Thanks Wright Family!

I was ACCEPTED into Weber State University's Nursing Program :D I will start this Fall and I can not wait! I'm so excited! I also want to say thanks to those of you who were super supportive! I appreciate it. Corey and I also moved into an apartment! Thanks to my awesome brother in law Caleb for helping me with the bulk of the stuff and also my Father in-law, Mother in-law, Rusty and those of you who offered to help!
Corey also tore his miniscus playing in the TMAT. He will be having surgery soon. He's been great though, he moves around pretty well and deals with the pain and has been super helpful in getting the apartment set up! Keep your fingers crossed for him.

Corey is coming up on midterms at school and so far has enjoyed most all of his classes. (He's not such a huge fan of the music class he is taking.) He is going into Health Care Administration where I think he will do AMAZING! Corey definitely has that outgoing, very friendly personality. We are still living with his parents in Honeyville and will probably be there until May or June. I'm waiting to hear back to see if I was accepted into a nursing program. I work all the time and Corey is always working on homework. I can't forget about our dog BEAR. He has gotten huge! BEAR weighs about 65 lbs now and still acts like he is a little lap dog. We really love our dog. (Yes, we've turned into that weird couple that doesn't have kids, but that has a dog that they are OBSESSED with....hopefully we aren't too insane!)

Ok so things have been pretty crazy around here, so I am going to post a quick update and then I will throw some pictures up SOON! We've been running around with our heads cut off to say the least. Corey just started up school again and he is taking 20 credits. I am still working at the hospital, but I'm finishing up my days in Labor and Delivery and moving strictly to the ER. Life has been amazing and soon I will get some pictures up!

Birthday-Halloween/Arizona/Alaska - Brace Yourself

Things have been pretty crazy here the past little while! Corey and I have been all over the place it seems. I had my birthday and Halloween and let me just say that I have seen better birthdays. I dressed up as a disgruntled worker, because I was working, and had been bit by a hornet right before I got to work, and didn't get to celebrate Halloween or my birthday. There is always next year right?? These are my rad friends. I wish I could live in Logan so I could torment their lives all day every day, but I guess being 20 minutes away isn't too bad either. This is is Lindsey Quayle and Teresa Catron - they are two of the coolest chics around. Thanks for being great friends! Luckily we have been able to spend a lot of time with them lately and I'm so glad we can! Corey helped his brother move to Alaska a little bit ago as well. I was surprised that he came home, because Corey wants to live in Alaska so badly! He had a ton of fun and his only complaint was that he wasn't able to spend more time there. They drove ALL the way to Alaska with a big huge trailer behind them - not my idea of a great time. However, they said that it is a spectacular drive and they all enjoyed themselves thoroughly.Corey, his grandpa, his brother Aaron, and his Dad were the brave men to take the journey. This group of guys usually takes a trip to Alaska, but it is to fish. Soon I think they will be going to Alaska like it is a quick drive to Salt Lake!Along their journey they also stopped at a natural hot spring and took a quick dip. I am sure that you all know Alaska is a FREEZING place, but they sacrificed in the sake of the hot spring. Funny huh!This is the beautiful family that we miss so dearly! Bella, Sophia, Aaron and Lindsy. WE LOVE YOU GUYS!

Once Corey got home I decided that it was my turn to go on a little vaca. Somehow I had managed to not get scheduled for six days so I decided I would run off to St. George to see my parents and some sibling and then off to Arizona to see another sister! It was a great time and a VERY needed get away!This is dear dear Brenner. He is such a sweet heart. He is so funny and definitely a Momma's boy!! He is a chunk and the cutest little block of kid I have ever seen!!I love this picture! We were at Z-Tejas eating and I'm sure everyone around was like what the heck. Anyway, this picture is awesome and my Mom and Dad are just so amazing! They were immediately maulled as soon as we got to Arizona! Love you Mom and Dad!This is my sister Aubree and her hubs JR. Thanks so much for letting us come crash at your place! I had so much fun and I really need to do it again soon! Aren't they such a beautiful couple!This is Avenlee Kristine! She is oh, just a piece of heaven here on earth! Yet ANOTHER freaking cute little chunk! This is in one of the rocking chairs at the Cracker Barrel...or whatever it is called. She is such a happy baby and I miss her so so much!This is beautiful beautiful Leslie. I was so glad that I was albe to spend some quality time with her as well! I miss her dearly since we both have moved away and wish that she were closer. She is so much fun to be around and always so loving. LOVE YOU LESThis is Carson! He is one rad little dude! For all of you that know him will know that he really is probably the coolest kid his age! He is such a stud, a stinker and way to too smart for his own good! Love this kid - he too is adorable!
This is some creepy wax dude. On our way home from Arizona we stopped at this gas station and this was the guy the greeted us as we walked in! So of course we got a picture! For a long time I couldn't tell if he was fake or some guy that was waiting to grab me as I was getting my picture taken! CREEPY.While we were leaving the gas station with the crazy wax dude they also had one of the old school "BIG" fortune reader guys. Leslie went and got her fortune first and I about peed my pants when she read it, because it was so dead on! Then I decided I would pay the money to get my fortune - then I DID pee my pants!! It was so crazy

Ok, basically I am getting really homesick now so I need to quit this post. I LOVE MY FAMILY AND MISS THEM SO MUCH!!

I've been pretty lame and keeping in touch as of late, but seriously - I hope you are all doing great and know that I DO think of all of you regularly! My dearest Corey took me duck hunting with him a couple of weeks ago and it was an adventure to say the least! It was actually pretty dang fun to be able to walk through water and ponds and not get wet. (The suits you have to wear however are really heavy and make you look like an umpa loompa!) I've never been duck hunting and so it was fun to have Corey teach me about it - even though he knew shooting at a duck is something I personally will not be doing in this life. Corey had a blast! I had a hard time staying awake and I felt bad, because he was getting frustrated that I wasn't watching him shoot the ducks. So after a nice 45 minute nap in the water I woke up and gave Corey the needed support. He didn't shoot one, not two, heck he could have stopped at three, but he instead stopped at four! The limit is seven, but I think one duck is one too many. From what I hear the meat is TERRIBLE!
Of course we had to document that I was ACTUALLY there so here is me trying to be handy with a gun, freezing, and trying not to pee myself, because I'm pretty nervous around guns these days! I know - I looke like a total cheese ball :)

THIS however is one hot hunter! My little hunter is always teaching me things (things that I won't probably ever use), but teaching me none the less! He is such a good sport to have me come along, because we all know I can't sit very long being quite and without getting antsy! I always have fun on these outings with Corey, because he LOVES to go hunting and it is fun to see him in his element. Such a cutie.

Little Update

So here is what is new in the life of Tina and Corey. Corey is still going to school at WSU full time and is also looking for a new job (so if anyone out there knows a great job that will work about a students schedule - let us know!) I am still taking one class online from Weber and now working as many extra shifts as I can get so we can make ends meet! We are still having the time of our lives and couldn't be happier! Corey is in Alaska right now helping his brother and sister in law move in and I miss him dearly! I will DEFINITELY miss Aaron, Linds, Soph, and Bella too!! So sad that they are moving! Sorry no pictures- but there is a little update ... we are still alive :)

BEAR

The newest addition to the Kaminska family! This is our new puppy BEAR. He is a lover for sure! BEAR is a German short hair who has a lot of energy, but usually just wants to snuggle and sleep all of the time! He is about 12 weeks old these days and we love him so much! (We got him almost three weeks ago and it has been awesome!) BEAR will be Corey's hunting dog and my little baby :)! It has been so much fun to have this dog, because otherwise I just sit on my butt all alone. Now I not only have company, but I have a dog to attend to and take care of! BEAR is definitely the highlight of both Corey's and my life! We love our little guy!! (haha, and yes...I am talking about a dog!)

I am so bummed that I had to leave the beautiful island of Maui. Ten days was seriously not long enough! (I may have to move there.) Thanks to my dear Mother and the persistance of Aubree we were able to go on a vaca!I was so worried about having to fly all by myself, but luckily I didn't have to! Between people flying from Arizona, Nevada, and Colorado I was lucky enough to have had a flight with someone! Tammy, Tanner and I MIRACULOUSLY had a flight to Hawaii with each other. Now how that happened we have no clue and it was definitely not planned! (I think someone up above knew I wouldn't be able to handle the airport stress!) It was seriosly the best flight ever. I was able to snuggle with Tanner the ENTIRE flight. We slept the whole time it was awesome! He is such a cutie! My sister in law Amy and my sister in law Sabra and her daughter Taylee arrived after Tammy and I. Then Aubree and her daughter Avenlee, and Vanessa. Bridget was the only one that didn't come that same day and we were sad. (She made it the next afternoon though.) Sadly I don't have a picture with the entire group, but I have this picture from a Magic/Comedy show. We are missing my dear Mommy and the babies. (Top Row: Amy, Sabra, Aubree, Tammy Me. Bottom: Bridget and Nessa) I was able to do some serios shopping, go parasailing, check out a few beaches, do some boogie boarding and most important soak up the sun with awesome company!! There is so so much more that I should blog about, but seriously it would take months to for me to type it out and no one would read it! Thanks Mom! Then when I came home I was able to experience Peach Days for the first time! The first day of Peach Days Corey and I pretty much hung out with the family. The next day we bugged the Rollins the whole time!! (We had a blast!) Now, I can't say that I love Peach Days as much as Dana does, but I think every year I may grow more fond of the event!! My sister in law Ashley had to take her darling new, litty baby London to get a re-check of her bili this morning, so I was lucky enough to go and have a play date with her other girls - Sadie Bean and Chlo Bug!! (If you ask Sadie I was babysitting no there for a play date...but it was a play date :D) As soon as I walked through the door Sadie was ready to rock and roll! First things first of course - she had to turn me into a rock star. She "curled" my hair and "fluffed" my hair so it would be "fabulous!" She also said, "Tina, you are a rock star now. Rock stars wear their hair like this and you have to have some hair in front of one eye. And this (the crown) you have to have if you are a rock star." Chloe also did my hair, but she wanted it back in a pony tail, because "it is so beautiful that way." (They say the stinking cutest things EVER!) After I was transformed into a rock star we began the tea party of all tea parties! Rule number 1 of all tea parties: You must get pictures to document who attended. Chloe bug loves the tea parties, especially if there will be a treat of some sort! Chloe is such a hoot! She is a little spit fire and has so much personality. She is absolutely darling! Sadie Bean is the ultimate tea party hostess! She was getting pictures to document the whole event! Sadie is one of the sweetest little girls ever. I've never EVER seen her be mean to anyone - even when she has every right to get angryfied. She is a sweetheart! Rule number 2 of tea parties: Once the tea party has begun it is always rule of thumb to continue drinking the tap water (unless the tap water tastes like soapy tap water - which was the case today) while keeping a smile upon your face...or cookie in your mouth! Even Corey was able to get in on the action. Although he was too big to fit in the basement he thoroughly enjoyed himself. I don't know if Corey has had a tea party before, but if not - this was his first of MANY to come! Our tea party didn't last as long as it normally does (you can only choke down soapy tap water for so long...even when you are little soap water is yucky!) This is a picture of Chloe explaining why we could only have one cookie. (Lunch was on its way.) However, she did say, "We will have more treats next time."

It is always so much fun babysitting these girls, because they are so kind. It made my day to hear Chlo bug say, "You are beautiful Tina," after she was stroking my hair away from my face that has many "owies" on it and no make up. These girls are so so loving I love it. You can tell they definitely have amazing parents! Thanks for letting me babysit Ash!

The County Fair!!

That is right folks! The fair is in town and of course Corey and I wouldn't miss it. The fair is a huge deal up here - HUGE deal. So we ran into pretty much everyone that we knew and had a grand old time. When you first get to the fair it is of most importance to walk through all of the animals. Corey kept telling me not to take pictures, because then everyone would know I was a city girl! (He was right - people looked at me so strange for taking pictures of farm animals :D) So to accomodate both myself and Corey, I tried really hard to ONLY take pictures of the champion animals, because that is more accepted.This is the champion sheep! Congrats to Breeann Bingham. She is one of Corey's best friends little sisters...if that made any sense. My little niece was petting the lambs and one sneezed ALL over her! Pretty funny. This is a rooster (obviously). I had to get a picture with it, because he was cocka-doodle-dooing something fierce! Notice my hands are clasped, because I didn't want it to stick its little red beak through the cage and bite me! After we got done parading through the animals it was due time for some fair burgers! (It was EXTREMELY tasty!) No joke though, these burgers were so tasty. 90% grease I am sure, and 120lbs of fat straight to the booty, but I sacrificed for the sake of being at the fair! Corey always gets a double cheeseburger with a pink lemonade. He rarely ever drinks pink lemonade, but at the fair he has always gotten a pink lemonade and still to this day it is what he craves! Mmmmm! As a result of sacrificing at the fair for a burger this is how I felt afterwards (and I am sure what I looked like.) At least a pig can get away with being a pig and still be cute. A 21 year old newlywed on the other hand - doesn't fly. Naturally after hoarking down a butt load of food you have to go on some fast, flipping rides! Corey and I finished off our drinks and off we went to see if we could ride the rides and keep our food down........Tall people don't fit all that well in these carnival rides. The poor operator struggled to get our booth shut and Corey almost pulled a groin for 2 minutes of excitement! Luckily we enjoyed ourselves plenty even though Corey was foced to do the splits for the whole ride! (AND - it is always a bonus when your booth door stays shut!) After the zipper we went on the ring of fire and Corey was able to experience his cheeseburger all over again! Poor guy. (Yes, I told him he had to wait if he was going to throw up so I could document it. Rude I know.) And the rudeness doesn't stop there. After Cor was done puking his brains out he was kind enough to go and buy me a caramel apple. It was sooo yummy! The only not so yummy part was whoofing down a caramel apple and running into all of these cute skinny girls with caramel all over my face and hands....*sigh* Oh well :) We had a great time at the fair. I wonder if Corey and I will ever get too old for doing things like this! It was a night of standing in lines with 12 year olds, eating greasy food, watching Corey barf up his greasy food, riding rides and taking pictures like no ones business. It can't get any better than that right??

August 11th - Celebration Day!

We survived 2 years ladies and gentlemen and it has be awesome! We met up in Rock Springs, Wyoming where both of us were going to college and playing basketball. It was not love at first sight, but Corey did fall madly, completely, and utterly in love with me as soon as he got to know who was underneath the basketball shorts, man t-shirts, and ponytail! As for me you can say it was his butt jiggle and beyonce booty shake that did me in! (Ok, we really did fall in love with each other the minute we started to hang out!) August 11th baby was the begining of our never ending fairytale! Who would have thought that Corey and I would have survived through all the of the moving and school and job switching - but heck, we did!

The love of my life, Corey Hunter Kaminska! Isn't he drop dead sexy?? I sure think so. Anyway, I racked my brain to find something that would be perfect for our anniversary, but I failed. So instead I gave him money so that he could buy something perfect for himself or so that he could but it toward a hunting fund! (I know I know, everyone hates money as a gift.) He's is awesome though everyone - literally the best! (Admit it - your husbands aint got jack on Corey's Beyonce booty shake!!)
My love bought me a new camera for our anniversary and I was so so happy!! I will actually be devastated if someone steals this one out of my car (whereas the last one...they can keep it and I thank the punks that stole it but I want my money back!) Corey knew how much I wanted to ride on a train so he surprised me and we rode the train down to Salt Lake. It was great! All you have to do is sit there! I heart trains! I was throwing up a gang sign, but it can stand for our 2 years of awesomeness together as well.

Ashley and Caleb were there to join us! We also celebrated Ash's birthday, because it too is on August 11th!! Aren't they so cute! They live in Tremonton and we are glad that they are so close so we can bug them and hang out with them all the time. Hopefully they won't get sick of us, because we do pretty much everything with them!

Can't you tell how much Ash loved her gift!! She got sparkling peach lotion, body cream, body spray, and body wash - did I mention this stuff is discontinued?? Gotta love e-bay!! There is another picture of her that I wish I could put up that would really show you her excitement over the gift, but for some reason my computer will only allow me to upload certain images....GAY.

Melissa and Brian also were able to come with us. We were worried that they were going to miss the train, but luckily they boarded as the train dude announced that we would be leaving in one minute! Talk about luck! Melissa lives at home with the us too so we do a lot with her also and Brian lives in good old Brigham City so we see him on occasion!

This is our fabulous group at California Pizza Kitchen. It was tasty tasty!! This is kind of a funny picture, but the other one has Corey right in front of the camera so this will have to do! We had some good conversation and we ate a lot of tasty food. However - CPK waiter - you stink!! He didn't come out to sing Happy Birthday like he said he would! He is forever and always going to be the worst happy birthday waiter on my list...take that.
Here we all are waiting for the train to come and get us to take us home! Yeah, talk about FREAKS! It was so fun though. I actually felt like someone who was sitting on a bench - waiting for a train...probably cause that is exactly what I was doing!! Loved it! Can't tell by my face in this picture, but I did!

This picture I just had to throw in. Talk about GEEKS!! If you can you should look at this picture close up - guaranteed to laugh your head off!! Don't ask me what they were doing!! LOVE this picture!Ashley and Caleb are expecting their 3rd little girl ANY DAY NOW!! Seriously....London...anyday now - hurry it up!! This picture is a hoot also! I don't know why. It could be the chester molester behind Ash or the fact that Ash is about to die of laughter. Total toss up! They are great parents though and we're so excited for their next addition!!!

So happy Anniversary and happy birthday! It was filled with total awesomeness and I can't wait to do it again next year!! Corey and I are like two peas in a pod and I'm so glad for everything that he does for me. And no...we are not expecting children anytime soon :) Maybe in a couple of years! Sweat Box

I had to go to work this morning,
my night was filled with tossing and turning.
I woke up at three instead of four
Because I couldn't take the heat no more!
Sweat, Swass, Swack, and swoobs
(the last one means sweaty boobs.)

You can imagine how happy I arose
I wanted to be sprayed down by a freaking hose.
I moved from my bed to the couch downstairs
where for a short while I had no cares.
But of course that couldn't last long,
my alarm went off playing that same stupid song!!
Now I was furious, sweat and all,
and new today I would be in for the long haul.

As I got dressed, showered and got my hair done,
I started sweating again which was NO FUN!
Sweaty and tired I got in my car,
The AC came on and I hadn't gotten far.
It made me a little more happy and a lot less hot,
til I walked in the building and wanted to be shot.
IT WAS BLAZING HOT IN THE NURSERY,
AND GUESS WHO SITS IN THAT NURSERY!?!
Yes, it is me, I am in the nursery, sitting sweating,
mad, angry, hot, melting, and fretting.

I've cooled down a little since I've been here at work,
but we have a baby boy and I know he is due for a circ.
So under those hot steamy baby lights I will go
where the sweat will be turned on to a steady flow.

Take my advice and when you go to sleep at night,
TURN THE AC ON!!!!!!!!!

As many of you know I work at the hospital up in Brigham City. I absolutely love it! I am now training in the E.R which I LOVE! Tonight however, I am sitting here (at work) at three o'clock in the morning in the medical surgery department....not necessarily my cup of tea. I enjoy the nurses and aides that work here, but I'm just not all that fond of the setting. I've stalked almost every blog I could have possibly stalked. (I even blog stalked people I didn't know. . .I was for real stalking people!) Now, I have run out of blogs to look at and half of the internet is blocked due to whatever reasoning. I know I should have brought a book, but I just couldn't think of one that I wanted to read - plus reading makes me fall asleep. I contemplated bringing some magazines, but I don't have any of those either. What I really should have done was invested in one of those ipods that allow you to surf the web, listen to music and watch movies - I would be in heaven!!

I guess what I am trying to say is, while everyone is at home sleeping and dreaming of dragonflys - I am suffering to stay awake, eating hot tamales, getting fat - hoping that the E.R won't send anymore patients!!!

Corey and I have been going, going, going it seems like! I am still working at the hospital and still LOVING it. Corey is still working at Mosquito Abatement and he still LOVES that! He is finally done with summer school - just one more final and an 8 page paper. He can't wait to have a few weeks of freedom before he has to start school back up again. I applied for another nursing program at DATC so I will find out in August what the verdict is! Wish me luck - I'll need it! We are lucky enough to still be living with the in-laws. It is helping us out so much! We've been able to save a couple of bucks and prepare for more school bills. It has been GREAT! It is also nice to have the Kaminska family so close by! Everyone is within about a ten minute drive - it has been so much fun!

Last weekend Corey and I went on a little camping trip. It was really relaxing and fun to be able to go and hang out just the two of us. We snuggled in our little tiny tent and listened to the cows bellar and the coyotes whine. I thought we had set the tent up in a perfect spot, but when Corey went to his side of the tent he was laying on a big old bump...sorry Corey!

My mom and a couple of my sisters came up to Preston, Idaho for a few days so I was able to see them for a minute also! We hung out in SLC before they headed back down to St. George and itw as a blast! I miss them all so much. So far I have been surviving the move, so as long as everything keeps going the way it is I think I will be ok!

Sorry that there are no pictures once again :( I am pretty sure that I will be getting a camera for my anniversary :) I think that is what Corey will get also. Congratulations to Tia and Tyler Talbot!!! They have a BEAUTIFUL baby boy! We are so happy for them and excited! They will make the best little parents ever! We love you guys and are sad that we are so far away now! Congratulations to James and Shawn!! They also had a BEAUTIFUL little baby boy!! (Wow, EVERYONE is having babies!) We hope all is well and are so happy for you!! Also long over due - Congratulations to Dana, Eric and Colter for their BEAUTIFUL little addition! (This one is WAY over due!) We love you guys!......note to self - don't drink whatever water these guys have been drinking! Oh and I almost forgot - Congrats to Linsay and Rusty Bingham! They are expecting!! Pretty soon Corey and I will be the only ones that are not having a baby!

Quick Trip!

Corey and I had an open weekend and the homesickness was kicking in so off we went to St. George!! It has been so awesome! Sadly I have only been away for about two weeks and I already missed my family so much!!

My little sister (the baby of the family) had a piano recital so we decided that was going to be our reason for coming down! (Not that I was homesick :D) Jamie was sterling scholar for her high school, and region! She has a full ride scholarship to BYU, a phenomenal pianist, and will soon have the opportunity to try out to play with the southwest symphony!! I know - amazing right??? Did I mention she wants to be a brain surgeon??? (Seriously, it is a good thing she was the last child and not the first - she MAY be setting the bar pretty high!) I'm so excited for her! She is such an amazing young woman and I'm so proud of her!

Leslie is engaged!! She has been for a couple of weeks now, but I just never got around to posting about it! She is engaged to Colt Beddes who is a Wyoming dude. (We like him!) They don't know where they will be getting married or when, but so far they have it narrowed down to two temples and about thirteen dates!! I'm so excited for her too!! We've done pretty much everything together that it is sad to see her get married, because who knows - she may not need me anymore! (She and Colt will be moving away to Wyoming so he can go to dental or medical school - he hasn't decided!)

Aubree (another sister) just had a beautiful baby girl - Avenlee Kristine! Her and her family are doing well and keeping everyone on their toes!! CONGRATS!!

Tammy, John and baby Tanner are doing great also!! Oh how I miss Tanner!! In St. George we lived just right up the street from them so I spent pretty much EVERY morning at their house just snuggling Tanner! He's a doll! (Tammy and John are moving away to Denver, CO so John can go to Medical school!)

Jeff and Tyler are just keeping busy with work and their families! Ty is in Arizona right now with his family which made me so sad, because I didn't get to see any of their kids!!

Brent and Mary came to visit too!!! HOW AWESOME!!! I've missed them like crazy, because I don't know how long it has been since I have seen them!! They are great! Brent is finally done with school and looking for a new coaching job! *sigh* I wish they lived closer! (They live in Arkansas!)

Last but not least is my parents. Pretty soon they will be home alone just the two of them.......they might have to find some hobbies! All of us kids (except Aub and Brent) have been within five minutes from our parents and now slowly we are all moving away!! I miss my parents so much! THEY ARE THE BEST!! I think the only reason they haven't been translated is, because of us kids!! THANK HEAVENS!!

Now that I have just spewed everything that I possibly could have - the trip was great and well needed! I love my family so much AND the hotness of St. George. I'm going to try not to cry all the way back to Brigham this time, but I'm not promising anything!

I love my new job! It is so great, I couldn't have even dreamed of working in a better environment! I'm a CNA/Secretary at the Brigham City Community Hospital in Labor and Delivery. I never thought that I would really enjoy working in labor and delivery, but it is truly an amazing department to work in. I love it! I love the people that I work with (even though there are a couple that are turds), I love what I do, and I love being able to be a small part in such huge miracles! It is great! I work a twelve hour shift from 5:00 in the morning til 5:00 at night which means I have to get up at 4:00 so I can get to town and to the hospital on time - and even THAT I love!!

I SURVIVED ONE WEEK!!!!!

I've been away from my family, out of St. George, and living in Honeyville for ONE WHOLE WEEK!! I'm surprised at how fast the time went and surprised that even though all my belongings are up here and I have closet up here - it still feels like I'm on vacation. (Which is weird, because who works on vacation?!)

Anyway, it has been awesome so far. I'm really glad to have this new job and to be meeting new people! I still miss my family terribly, but I'm so grateful to have Corey's family up here.

Throughout this first week we were able to hang out with ALL of the Kaminska's and then ALL of the Hamilton's. We've been able to hang out with Corey's siblings, have some good laughs at Caleb while he was putting Sadie to bed, hang out with our friends, and clean the horses!! (I'm sure we did more, but those are the things that came to mind!) It has been a great ride so far!

AND if you are wondering why this blog RARELY has pictures it is because someone stole my camera out of my car....sad kind of....i didn't really like that camer.....so hang in there til we buy a new one!!! :)

We Love The Rollins!

Corey and I finally went and had a night out on the town with our AWESOME friends Dana and Eric!! We are so glad that we live closer to them so we can actually see them! We were able to go to dinner AND a movie - I'm telling you - it WAS a night out on the town! I'm pretty sure I laughed hard enough and loud enough for everyone in Olive Garden that night!

(For those of you who have not seen Ghosts Of Girlfriends Past, you definitely need to do so! SO CUTE!)

Anyway, we love the Rollins . They have always been such great friends and we've missed them terribly! Dana is expecting her second baby and we are hoping she will pop that sucker out soon!! We are so glad that they are only about 45 minutes away from us that we can see them more and more.

Brigham City

We made it to Brigham City! It was sooo hard for me to leave my family, friends and St. George all together, but after I cried for a good hour on my drive up here I was somewhat stable. (I'm still a basketcase - all it takes is for me to call my mom, dad, sisters or brothers and the gates open and here come the tears!!) It might take me a while to control these crazy and uncontrollable emotions, but I think I will get ahold of them soon. I didn't think it was going to be that hard to leave, but after a few hours of sobbing, a couple of panic attacks, hugging my family and sobbing together, followed with more sobbing, and countless tissues later - I know I was wrong!! ....I gues it just boils down to this....I need my mom, dad, sisters, and brothers. I will ALWAYS be grateful for my family and I won't ever forget how much they've done and do for me.
The area up here is just beautiful! (Now if only it weren't so cold still!) Corey and I both started our jobs on Monday morning; Corey works at Mesquito Abatement, and I work at the Brigham City Hospital in the OB. Corey has worked at Mesquito Abatement for a few summers now so he was glad to be back to it and working with old friends. He loves being able to ride around on the fourwheeler looking for mosquitos (or deer or turkey or ANYTHING that he might want to hunt), and he especially loves the weather here. I've only had a couple days of orientation so I haven't been able to get in and get going yet, but everyone that I have met has been so kind and accepting which has made this move and changing of jobs even easier! (My mother in law works at the hospital to in the pharmacy and she is just down the hall so that is a great comfort as well!)
Corey and I finally got all of our stuff somewhat put away and moved in and things are starting to settle and I'm becoming more familiar with everything. I'm so grateful for Corey's family and especially his parents for letting us crash with them for the summer - they are so great!
Well - it is starting to feel like Corey and I are begining another adventure! I've survived so far and I mean come on, with how beautiful it is up here - how could I not??!

SWINE FLU

I am sure everyone has heard about the swine flu. (If you haven't - just turn on your t.v.) I just think that everyone needs to realized that 30,000 people in the United States die every year from the every day flu. So what is the big fuss about the swine flu that has killed zero people in the United States?? (I'd be more concerned about them doing something about border control. For more than just the swine flu!)

Anyway, Corey is convinced that he has the swine flu!! Yesterday he called me about every 45 minutes (in a very VERY sick voice :D) and this is how our conversation went EVERY time!!

Myself: "Hi Corey."

Corey: "Tina. I'm dying! I am dying from the swine flu!"

Myself: "Corey, you don't have the swine flu."

Corey: "Yes I do Tina!! I have EVERY symptom!"

Myself: "Well that is not good - but you still don't have the swine flu."

Corey: "Tina, I am dying from the swine flu! They say that if you have all of these symptoms that you need to go and get checked."

Myself: "Well then we better get you checked. But you don't have the swine flu."

Corey: "I don't have insurance."

Myself: "Do you want me to call my dad? I am sure he will run a test on you for swine flu that you don't have."

Corey: "Yeah, call your Dad. I have the swine flu."

Myself: "Ok, I will call you later."

Corey: "K, hurry though cause I am dying of the swine flu!"

Keep in mind we had this SAME conversation MANY times yesterday. The only difference was the last conversation I said I would call my Dad. Corey went to my Dad's office to be checked for the swine flu and we were SO relieved to find out that he was negative for the swine flu, but he did have a little bit of a cold! We've all had some pretty good laughs with Corey about his debilitating case of the swine flu!

Corey is still convinced he has the swine flu :D hah - I love my husband (even if he does think he is dying from "swine flu")

FINALS!!

I have been studying ALL week long for my pathophysiology final and today at 12:30 I will see if all that studying will benefit me! I'm really nervous, because I am not doing so hot in this class and it seems as though the information we are told to study is RARELY the testing material. Having said that - as I prepared for this final I made sure that not only did I review the information he wanted us to, but I revied everything else he even kind of talked about!! *sigh* All I know is that I am so excited I won't have to stress about this silly class anymore.

Corey has a final today, then one on Wednesday and another one on Thursday. He seems pretty confident that he will do well. He plans on studying for a few hours before his finals so that the information is fresh on his mind!

Our Blog Is Back!

I know, I know. I should have never gotten rid of my blog in the first place! I had good reasoning though - it was consuming my life! However, Corey and I are at the start of a new, exciting and scary journey so I thought it completely appropirate to start a blog again! We are moving away from our family and friends in St. George so that we can go to school at WSU. This is such a horrible thing, becuase I will miss my family so much that it makes me sick, but also a wonderful blessing, because we will have Corey's family there to help make the transition much easier and we will get to see them more!

Corey has been accepted into the Health Administration Program at WSU. (This is the reason that we are moving.) If we had stayed here in St. George I would be in the DSC nursing program, but we decided that it is more important that we get him through school first...right? I'm so grateful that Corey can finally start his program. It is so awesome to see how excited he is about finally knowing what he wants to do for a career! AND he has the perfect personality for such a job! Corey starts school in the summer and will be working full time for Mesquito Abatement in Brigham City - no rest for the wicked! I will be tagging along and even though I will not be going to school for a little bit, I will be working at the Brigham City Hospital as a CNA/Secretary in the OB. (I'm really excited!)

Corey's parents have been kind enough to let us hooligans move in with them for the summer! Hopefully after a couple of weeks of Corey and I being up there they won't kick us out!! Corey and I decided we would be on our BEST behaviors so they won't regret letting us stay with them for a bit! :) I love Corey's family and parents so much and I'm so grateful for how accepting of me they have been! (Because honestly, I eat a lot, I sleep a lot, and as most of you know Corey and I together are quite the handful!) I am SO happy that the Kaminska family lives relatively close to each other! It always makes for a good time. I can't say that I'm not frightened about leaving my comfort area and especially my family, but after many sob sessions I know that it is only because of I've been lacking a little bit of faith. We've been blessed so much while we've been here in St. George it was very difficult for me to see all the blessings waiting for us up in Brigham. Now that I've put my big girl pants on, I've decided that it doesn't matter where we are living it only matters how we are living our lives and who we are letting influence them!

I am so grateful for my family and especially my parents! I can't thank them enough for everything they have done for Corey and I! If I could express how much I love them I would - but I can't, because it would take far too long. It overwhelms me how many people have befriended us and shown us so much love while we've been down here and I can't thank you all enough. I'm going to miss you all so much! So now that I've bored everyone to tears and now that I've gotten all mushy I think it is time for me to skiddaddle.
Watch out Brigham City - here we come!
